Being a native of Flint, Michigan, I moved to the Triangle about two decades ago. While traveling through NC with my church in 2005, I had just awakened to see the Charlotte skyline; what a beautiful and progressive sight! I was impressed with all the progressive NC communities that I was seeing and felt this would be a great place to raise my son. I eventually chose the Triangle area to call home as I was overwhelmed by all the beautiful flowers, schools, churches and its proximity to the beaches and mountains.  It was then that I realized why the Triangle is consistently listed among the top places to live in the country.


Like so many others who live here, I moved to the Triangle for a wonderful job opportunity, and I've never looked back.  Working as an optician for 32 years, I learned the importance of customer service, listening to other’s needs and following-up to ensure a positive customer experience.   As a REALTOR®, I feel I am just as successful in bringing these qualities and experiences to my clients; the kinds of qualities and experience that's crucial when navigating both buyers and sellers through the home buying process.


Throughout the years as an optician, patients often called me “The Troubleshooter.” I earned this distinction because I would not give in until I found the solutions to their concerns. We've become accustomed to the rapid changes around us here in the Triangle market, which means buying or selling a home can be challenging. My pledge to my clients is to make the Real Estate process as smooth as possible by, finding the right tools to make this happen – usually to your advantage.


One of the most important qualities that I offer my clients, which is also one of the simplest, yet critical skills you want in your REALTOR ®, is great listening skills. A great listener is one way that I maximize my client's time in streamlining the home buying and selling process. I am skilled in collecting relevant information from clients to create the roadmap to a successful closing. For me, using my experience in actually listening to understand is the key to having a successful relationship with my clients.
In my spare time, I also enjoy spending time with nature, golfing, traveling, hiking, and going to the beach. I’m so glad that I awakened to witness the beauty and progressiveness of North Carolina. I can only imagine what my journey would have been if I had not awakened to appreciate this State. I'm so thankful I had that experience and want you to have this awakening as well.
